Biography

Isha was born in the vibrant city of Delhi, India and has pursued an extensive academic journey across different parts of the country. She earned a BSc (Honours) in Chemistry from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University and pursued her master’s degree in chemistry from Central University of Rajasthan, where she received a gold medal for her outstanding performance. Building on this foundation, Isha continued her scholarly journey by obtaining PhD from University of Hyderabad. Throughout her academic career, she has delved into diverse research domains. Her master’s thesis conducted under the guidance of Dr. Chandrakanta Dash on PEPPSI-themed palladium-NHC precatalysts for domino Sonogashira coupling and C-H bond activation marks as a crucial stepping stone in her research career. She also worked as an ERASMUS exchange visiting research scholar at Freie Universitat Berlin, Germany with Prof. Ulrich Abram on design and synthesis of Tc(I) based multinuclear complexes. Isha’s doctoral research focused on Rhenium(I) and Manganese(I) tricarbonyl based supramolecular cages, tubes, and acyclic systems. Her current research focuses on atomically precise nanoclusters. Beyond academia, she enjoys engaging in digital art, reading, cooking, and exploring new places with positive ambiance and culinary delights.
